HR Generalist, manufacturing/industrial productsOnsite required, Downtown Vancouver (remote or hybrid is NOT possible)Our client is a trailblazer in the building materials industry. You will have an opportunity to work with hiring managers, cross-functional teams, and a broad range of manufacturing and distribution sectors. You are seeking a career move where you will set down roots and become a long-tenured team member!!What you’ll do:· Work within a team-based environment on multiple projects consistently· Handles HR Generalist functions such as full-cycle recruitment, advising and working with hiring managers, understands full HR fuctions and projects· Assists employees with pension-related stock purchase questions· Engages with the health and safety committee, performance management, labour relations and works with the Learning and Development team· Manages paperwork and works with the HR administrator· Used to working with multiple locations or branches on HR policies and procedures· Picks up new software quickly and easilyWhat you’ll bring:· A minimum of 3 – 5 years of broad HR experience including full cycle recruitment, working with 2nd interview hiring managers, performance appraisals, and employee relations, health and safety, program management, stock option purchase, pension etc. If you happen to have experience with LMS, that would be an assetPreference will be given to those with a manufacturing or industrial experience· Team-focused and open to having your work reviewed by colleagues or reviewing colleague’s work to gain and give input· Experienced working with multiple locations or multiple provinces, advising hiring managers and giving advice· Experienced working in a publicly traded company an asset· Experienced administrating a group pension and Corporate HR experience is an asset· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are detail-oriented and your work shows this· Good computer literacy including CRM usage, MS Word and Excel· A sense of humour, great attitude, not a rigid or single focused personality· Post-secondary education in HR, degree, or diploma· CPHR in progress or completedWhat you’ll get:· Collaborative and fun team, busy day, multiple projects on the go, and a very team based environment· Salary, plus annual bonus· Benefits day 1· HSA· Matching pension· 3 weeks’ vacation and much more
