As an ICT Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective Information and Communications Technology (ICT) lessons to students, helping them develop essential digital skills and a passion for technology. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to create and implement innovative teaching strategies that cater to the diverse needs of students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive and forward-thinking educational environment.Key Responsibilities of ICT Teacher:

  • Develop and deliver engaging ICT lessons that inspire students and foster a love for technology.
  • Teach a range of subjects to students in Key Stage 3 (Ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (Ages 14-16).
  • Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring all students can achieve their full potential.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each student’s education and well-being.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate students, making learning enjoyable and effective.
  • Keep detailed records of student progress, including assessments, observations, and feedback, and communicate this information to parents and relevant parties.

Requirements of ICT Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in teaching ICT or a related subject is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships within the school community.
  • Commitment to helping students develop their ICT skills and achieve their full potential.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in ICT education (desirable but not essential).

  • The right to work in the UK.
  • An up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be willing to apply for one.
