Job Description

BACKGROUND: Based in 1933, the Worldwide Rescue Committee is a number one, non-sectarian, non-profit group offering emergency aid, safety, rehabilitation help, resettlement providers, and advocacy for refugees and victims of oppression or violent battle.  Domestically, our 28 workplaces throughout the U.S. guarantee new arrivals have meals, shelter, and clothes, and work with refugees to assist them achieve self-sufficiency.

SCOPE OF WORK: Immigration intern will work immediately with the immigration crew helping IRC purchasers in making ready functions for adjustment of standing to everlasting residence, naturalization petitions, household reunification functions, journey paperwork, renewal and substitute functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Attend Volunteer/Intern Orientation

•Draft USCIS functions (inexperienced card functions, naturalization, and many others.)

•Monitor circumstances with USCIS

•Manage immigration information

•Put together invitation letters to IRC purchasers

•At present pursuing an undergraduate, graduate diploma, or current graduate. Choice for individuals pursuing a JD
