Starting salary from £44,737 per annum, dependent on skills and experience, with an annual increment up to £51,805 per annum.

Reporting to the Associate Director, Financial Accounting this is a hands-on role covering a broad range of responsibilities including financial accounting, taxation, treasury and cashflow management. The role also manages the accounts receivable and cashbook functions of the University. 

In addition to a professional accounting qualification (CCAB or equivalent) other key skills to be successful in this role include:

  • Excellent IT skills covering use of accounting packages and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent investigative and analytical skills.
  • Experience of leading a finance team.
  • Excellent communication skills in engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis. We operate a flexible working policy within the finance division with the requirement to work in the office two days a week.
