Detailed job description and main responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Individual and Planned Giving Manager will be responsible for:

Direct marketing:

Responsible for acquisition and retention, the postholder will test and recommend new activities and channels for fundraising from individuals, maximising lifetime value and using this insight to shape the strategic direction and development of our donor acquisition, retention and development programmes.

In-memory giving:

Responsible for developing an annual in-memory product plan, enabling families to make meaningful and impactful donations in the memory of their loved ones.

Legacy marketing:

The postholder will deliver multi-channel legacy marketing campaigns and events, to warm and cold audiences, with the aim of acquiring new legacy supporters. These campaigns will support the overarching legacy income management strategy.

The Individual and Planned Giving Manager will ensure effective financial management and planning within these income channels, providing forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on income and expenditure to the Charity’s senior management team.

All direct marketing, warm and cold, as well as all supporter engagement is compliant with GDPR and fundraising regulations.

  • Management experience
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders
  • Manage income and expenditure budgets
  • Analyse financial information
