As an Institutional Research Analyst at the University of Westminster, the successful candidate will support the Senior Institutional Research Analyst in the management of the Student Experience and Opinion Panel as well as play a crucial role in conducting primary and qualitative research to inform strategic decision-making and enhance the student experience.
Working closely with the Senior Institutional Research Analyst, the successful candidate will contribute to the production of insightful analysis and reports that will support evidence-based decision-making across various areas, including employability, student experience and engagement, and portfolio development. Your ability to apply different research methodologies and effectively communicate findings will be essential in driving our institution forward.
The role will see the successful candidate engage with students, professional and academic colleagues to produce the research and analysis to support evidence-led decision-making so that the University can achieve its strategic objectives and better understand the student journey.
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level in a relevant subject, with market research and analysis experience at Market Research Executive/Officer or similar level role. Experience with the Higher Education sector will be useful but is not essential.
The successful candidate will require proven experience of how to apply different primary research and qualitative methodologies, experience using Market Research and qualitative tools and to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will be based at our Wells Street site. The SPP department has a Smart Working approach that allows for remote working in the UK when you are not required onsite.
