New Role! Join our team as a permanent full time instructor. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced instructor.

The role pays £26,403 – £28,142 for 36 hours a week and is based at our beautiful woodland centre on the edge of the Surrey Hills National Landscape, UK. The council offers a generous leave package of 31 days annual leave, bank holidays and days off in lieu for weekend or evening work. The Role:

As an Instructor in our Income Generation Programme, you can make your own powerful contribution to people across Westminster. Based at Sayers Croft, a 56 acre site in the beautiful Surrey Hills, you’ll give children living in the city the unique, perspective-changing opportunity to explore green spaces, interact with nature and build friendships.

Responsible for liaising with group leaders to decide the course content of the programme, you’ll ensure that the information delivered to children’s groups is appropriate and engaging. As the first point of contact for visiting groups, you’ll effectively communicate health and safety information, carrying out risk assessments and working proactively to identify potential safety risks to staff and visitors.

Working creatively and innovatively to deliver hands-on projects, understand the needs of our customers, and negotiate solutions to possible issues, you’ll help children fulfill their potential and leave the centre with a new perspective on life.

This role includes a mix of week and weekend working, so you’ll need to be flexible, but you’ll be compensated with days off in the week and enhanced hourly claims for weekends.
