We are recognized in Canada and around the world as a leader in the provision of Intervenor Services.Sensity is currently seeking an Intake and Children Services Specialist for an immediate full time role. Reporting to our Director of Training, join our committed team in supporting and managing the intake process for individuals who are seeking services from Sensity.This position, based in Paris, ON, manages the existing Children’s Services programs, as well as develops additional family and children’s service programs.Sensity Offers:

Key Requirements:Adult Services:
- Intake and screening of new candidates for services.
- Set up new individuals supported in client management system (ShareVision).
- Manage the waitlist for residential services.
- Act as the point of contact for the Access Intervenor Services System (AIS).
Children’s Services:
- Transition Planning for students and families.
- Consultation Services for families.
- Manage the Children’s Intervenor Services Funding program.
- Develop and deliver workshops for families and community partners.
- Expansion of the family and children’s services programs.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- College Diploma (or equivalent) in Intervenor Services, Social Services or Educational Assistant (EA) program required.
- Extensive knowledge of deafblindness.
- Experience working with families.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Proficient and confident in the delivery of training.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, with a strong client service orientation and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Solid time management, record keeping, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite is preferred, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of social services or non-profit sector.
- French (written and verbal) an asset, but not required.
