Integrated Operations Center Coordinator

Where will you work: Onsite K3: Esterhazy, Saskatchewan (Highway 22

Esterhazy, SK S0A 0X0 Canada)

HOURS/SCHEDULE : 5/5/4

This position is an integral role that supports the Esterhazy operation by executing the daily/weekly operations plan for all Esterhazy facilities, delivering the safest, most productive, and efficient plan possible. Primary duties include monitoring of the various systems in the Mine and Mills, relevant projects, and maintenance work to hit or exceed forecast. The period of focus for this role is short (shift, daily) out to medium (week, months) term.

What you’ll do?

• Manage and communicate daily operations plan to individual site front line supervisors.
• Monitor site KPI’s and take action to ensure daily production objectives are met effectively and efficiently.
• Lead site Short Interval Control (SIC) cycles, adjust plan as required, and report out to site leadership.
• Manage significant events/incidents, lead site unscheduled production upsets to maximize overall throughput.
• Fine tune the Short-Range Plan by working with department front line leaders, area coordinators for process upsets and field maintenance activities (Break in Work, Maintenance Days, etc.).
• Validate data by working with Production Engineer and Operations teams.
• Participate in daily and weekly meeting cadences to update team on the past day and the current plan for the next day(s).
• Collaborate with key site stake holders to identify opportunities that will optimize and improve production performance of Mine, Hoist, Mills, Loadout, logistics and planning.

What you’ll need:

• High School/GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mining or milling process.
• Proven leadership ability. Self-motivated with ability to use independent judgment and sound logical to make business decisions. Ability to influence others. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, strategic planning skills. Highly effective communication and facilitation skills. Excellent business acumen skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to look at and interpret data and trends is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Maximo, PiVision, OIS
