School of History, Archaeology and ReligionThe School of History, Archaeology and Religion wishes to appoint a Teacher with expertise in the field of medieval history. This fixed-term role will be responsible for contributing to medieval history teaching on the BA and MA History degree programmes, as well as teaching on core modules at first and second year level, teaching of historiography, and some supervision of individual student projects.You will be joining a dynamic and friendly department of historians, teaching across a wide range of time periods and geographical areas, with a lively research culture, and an active commitment to civic mission and public engagement.This post is full-time (35 hours per week), is fixed term for 10 months, with an anticipated start date of 2 September.Cardiff University offers many excellent benefits, including 45 days annual leave (including bank holidays), blended working (meaning you will be able to work from home for some of your time), a cycle to work scheme and other travel initiatives, annual increments up the pay scale, and more.
