Birmingham City University is a large and diverse place to study right in the heart of the city and we currently have an exciting opportunity within the International Office for an International Admissions and Conversion Officer.
The post-holder will provide an effective and efficient admissions service for both internal and external customers, and by so doing achieve the target for the recruitment of international students in line with the University’s internationalisation strategy.
The main responsibilities of the post-holder are:
- Processing international/EU applications.
- Assessing international qualifications, English language, and immigration.
- Determining fee status of applicants.
- Assessing financial and other requirements for the issuing of Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)
Requirements:
- The successful applicant should be educated to a degree level or equivalent
- Previous administrative experience in the higher education environment is desirable.
- We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and customer service skills and has a high attention to detail and accuracy.
