WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE INTERNATIONAL HR DIRECTOR AT MSF-BRAZIL

You are going to lead the IHR team of MSF-Brazil with vision, integrity and creativity. As a member of the Management Team of MSF Brazil, you will be responsible for jointly developing MSF-Brazil´s strategy and defining priorities. In particular, the IHR Director is accountable for the development and implementation of the International/Field HR strategies and plans of MSF-Brazil in collaboration with team members, creating and implementing processes and practices that will allow the department to respond efficiently and effectively to the operational needs of the MSF Movement and to the strategic priorities of MSF-BR

WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN CHALLENGES?

• Ensure coherence, efficiency, accountability and transparency with different internal stakeholders, such as the International Mobile Staff (IMS), MSF-Brazil office staff, MSF Operational Centres and other MSF sections;

• Proactively co-lead the development and implementation of a project aimed at mutualizing resources between MSF Brazil, MSF Latin America and MSF Central America (CAMINO);

• Proactively work towards a harmonization of processes with the National HR department increasing consistency and efficiency in people management across all staff groups.

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE:

• Bachelor Degree

• Postgraduate, Master or MBA degree in HR/Management related fields

• Solid experience in strategic positions, being in humanitarian projects and/or in international offices

• Fluent English

• Experience with Office Package (advanced)

• Knowledges of Outlook (advanced)

WHAT INCREASES YOUR CHANCES:

• Knowledge of Spanish or Portuguese

• Experience in MSF projects or offices

• Knowledge and experience in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion matters
