We seek talented team members with the passion and drive to help us in our mission to build a global appetite for British goods and services; drive investment; negotiate trade deals and open up markets; improve international trading standards and fight unfair trading practices.Based at the British Consulate-General in Montreal, the Investment Officer will support the Senior Trade & Investment Officer and Head of Critical Supply Chains to attract foreign direct investment to the UK across multiple sectors including future mobility (automotive, commercial aerospace), space and healthcare life sciences. You will be part of multiple sector teams which sit in a wider North America virtual network. You will also be a valued contributor to the work of the local British Consulate General, and liaise closely with relevant colleagues based around the UK.Roles and responsibilities:
