The Investment Property Office (IPO) is responsible for the development and management of a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, including office, Build To Rent and Purpose Built Student Accommodation. The portfolio is West London focused, where Imperial has a significant and exciting development land pipeline in White City and North Acton. The IPO’s main aim is to generate material streams of unfettered income that can be used to support Imperial’s academic mission, as part of the College’s financial strategy of diversification.
Duties and responsibilities
An opportunity has arisen for a job share (2 days a week) in the Investment Finance team.
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a professional financial accounting and reporting service to the IPO to support property management and operations, asset management, capital projects, site acquisition and disposals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic qualified accountant with a previous experience of management and financial accounting in an investment property or property management office.
This opportunity will be suitable for someone looking for a challenging role as part of a small and motivated team, committed to delivering excellent support and financial reporting to the IPO’s Development and Operations teams.
This post is offered on a part time and permanent basis.
Salary is offered at Professional Services Level 4 (Salary scales ).

The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework until early 2023. Hybrid working may be considered for this role and the role holder may be expected to work 60% or more of their time onsite, with 40% the minimum time spent onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview.
