Investment Risk Analyst – Permanent Role

You will work with portfolio managers and internal teams, providing risk analysis and insights to support various investment strategies.About the Company
Our client is a specialized investment firm focused on active fund management. They manage a range of investment strategies and maintain a diverse and inclusive workplace.Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Monitoring: Track and assess risk exposures for multiple investment portfolios.
• Data Analysis: Prepare and review risk and performance reports, focusing on key risk metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with the Operations team to ensure data accuracy and resolve reporting issues.
• Stakeholder Support: Communicate findings to portfolio managers and analysts, offering insights and refining analysis as needed.
• Tool Development: Use internal and external models to improve risk management processes and develop tools for data management.
• Hedging Assistance: Help implement and monitor investment hedges.
• Investor Queries: Assist the Sales and Client Services teams with responses to investor questions.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Strong academic background and quantitative skills.
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of financial markets and portfolio construction.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, VBA, and SQL is an advantage.
