It’s our employee promise.Our hybrid work model provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.Ready to make your mark?About the roleOur growing team is looking for an IT Business Analyst!As a Business Analyst, you play a key role as an interpreter and facilitator with the various business units, IT and the quality assurance team. You will be at the heart of a small team whose sole mission is to create and constantly improve the features of our online quote to provide the best product not only in the field of insurance, but on the web in general. At Intact, we benchmark ourselves against the best customer experiences, period.What you’ll do:

• Analyze business needs to define IT solutions.
• Facilitate/participate in business needs specification workshops to specify IT solutions.
• Conduct impact analyses and effort estimates to recommend, get approved, and then document the IT solution using effective methods and interacting with both business users and the IT project team.
• Support the development of solutions and the technical analyses performed.
• Support quality assurance activities and acceptance testing.
• Work in collaboration with the Product Owner in the definition and prioritization of the product backlog.
• Document user stories in a way that is understood by developers and the QA team.
• Identify and communicate impacts on business processes to support change management in business units on a train-the-trainer basis.
• Build and maintain functional, robust, accurate and accessible documentation for all stakeholders in the company.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Project experiences in Scrum mode.
• Experience and knowledge in the field of insurance.
• Experience and knowledge of applications in a web environment.
• Jira and Confluence Mastery.
• Bilingualism (French and English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required, but authorization to work in Canada required.
