Sound interesting? Want to be a part of it? We are currently seeking an IT Support Consultant to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:
- Provide remote day-to-day IT support for a large and diverse client base, with the potential for client site visits.
- Work directly with clients to gather and document requirements relating to their internal systems, networks, and applications to troubleshoot and resolve their issues.
- Respond to service requests in the designated response time and maintaining records in our ticketing system regarding the request.
- Work closely with team members to resolve client issues and requests.
- Support internal and external sales efforts as required.
We are seeking candidates that will bring the following skills and experience:
- Relevant post-secondary education coupled with 3-4 years of related experience.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving basic technical issues.
- Experience using and managing remote monitoring and alerting systems.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to take action and execute.
- Knowledge of SMB IT Network Infrastructure also including domain admin, security requirements, and end-user equipment
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products and services.
- Knowledge of MS Server and Desktop OS, and VMWare environments
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and listening skills in order to correspond with clients, diagnose issues, resolve problems, and correspond with team players.
