IT Officer (INT10536)

Do you have experience in management and maintenance of IT endpoints for the office keeping track of IT Assets working in close co-ordination with the logistics team

 

Do you have 5 years’ experience in IT Support, trouble shooting, LAN and WAN administration, O365 Administration, Active Directory administration, Cloud computing and appreciation of Data Protection principles

 

The Role:

IT Officer is responsible to ensure that Oxfam staff within a country can use information technology and regional information systems, including email, networks, PC, Peoplesoft / OPAL, and other corporate applications

 

What we are looking for:

Responsible for the management and maintenance of all computer systems in the Gambella Field office and related areas of operation in the region as and when applicable, resolving issues electronically thus ensuring that all systematic requirements and maintenance of IT systems are in place with support from the regional team

 

An ideal candidate for the role will also be / have:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer Science and professional training on computers, with knowledge on Local Area Networks, WAN, Office 365, VSAT, Server Management.
  • High level of competence in development and implementation of computerised systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English and understanding of local language and context.
