From the design table to the stores and our digital channels, we are always finding new ways to create memorable customer experiences, backed by a strong brand portfolio and powered by the most passionate people in the industry.Job DescriptionThe OpportunityThe Project Manager position is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business through project delivery and fulfillment of stakeholder expectations by structuring and managing initiatives from initiation to completion. In addition, the role is to collaborate with the different business partners across the organization to ensure the development of long-term IT strategies, improving effectiveness and efficiency of the business process and technology applications in alignment with the business unit’s goals and objectives. Influence the various parts of the organization to adopt new ideas and accept change that will result in improved sales, margin, efficiency and reduce costs. Manages the workload, task assignment and performance reports for resources that are allocated to their project team.Tasks & responsabilities:

  • Design, produce and present a clear business case to the divisional executives to support the proposed projects/initiatives.
  • Analyze project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations and appropriate process for accomplishing projects.
  • Lead and motivate the team throughout the project life cycle, defining a work plan and staffing.
  • Lead approved projects by ensuring accountability for resources, schedule and budget, while aligning decisions with established objectives
  • Transform high-level strategic goals, as communicated by the divisional executives, into specific action plans and tactics.
  • Act as a change agent by influencing the impacted functions to adopt standard practices across the corporation.
  • Design metrics to monitor and assess the critical success factors for all initiatives that are approved and undertaken.
  • Lead the process redesign workshops of large-scale initiatives (often involving multiple business functions).
  • Make recommendations of new process designs to business stakeholders for discussion and approval.
  • Lead the definition of high-level business requirements for technology vendor selection process related to new enterprise solutions.
  • Make recommendations on new system functionalities and business processes to the business and senior management.
  • Research and explore emerging technologies and innovations in the retail arena and present the vision of how those would deliver strategic value to RCL.
  • Uses her/his knowledge of best practices across business functions as well as technologies to articulate potential benefit/impacts to the business.
  • Facilitate and guide business teams through the analysis, improvements and documentation relating to new business processes.
  • Handles new business domain in a high level of complexity.
  • Act as a liaison to end users by ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinates and oversees the work of other Business Analysts on projects.
  • Ensure robust testing plans and requirements traceability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience, preferably in the retail industry field
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • Business acumen and ability to influence.
  • Experience determining the explicit and implicit needs and requirements of various stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the retail business process
  • Strong familiarity with business and process methodologies
  • Versatility across various application context
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience creating documentation such as business cases or business requirements summaries
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills
