Our client is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to spearhead our enterprise-wide Zscaler zero trust implementation. This role combines strong project management expertise with deep understanding of zero trust architecture to transform our healthcare security landscape.Primary Project Focus:
– Lead end-to-end implementation of Zscaler’s zero trust platform:
– Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) deployment
– Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) rollout
– Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) integration
– Manage phased migration from legacy security systems to zero trust architecture
– Coordinate integration with existing security tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
– Consolidation of tenants and simplification
– Support additional business units and use cases.Project Management Responsibilities:
– Develop a comprehensive project plan for Zscaler implementation.
– Manage project budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
– Mitigate risks and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
– Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
– Lead cross-functional teams including security, network, and application teams.
– Track and report project metrics and KPIs.
– Manage stakeholder communications and change management.Technical Knowledge Required:
Strong understanding of:
– Zero trust security principles and architecture
– Zscaler platform capabilities and components
– Cloud security and access management
– Identity and access management systems
– Security controls and frameworksQualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
– 10+ years combining project management and cybersecurity experience
– Essential to have a proven track record managing enterprise-wide security transformation projects in healthcare or similarly regulated industries
– PMP Certification required
– Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP highly valued
– Experience in healthcare IT security.
– Proactive problem-solver with a security-first mindset.
– Strong communicator able to translate complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
– Ability to balance technical requirements with business objectives.
– Track record of successful change management in complex environments.
