Description :ABOUT US:Joddes Limited (the “Family Office”) has been managing an inter-generational investment portfolio of institutional size for over 20 years. It has, over the years, developed a disciplined and structured approach to investing, working from a policy-based asset allocation. The Family Office, which is based in Montreal, operates independently from its operating businesses with its own location, management, and administrative team. The Family Office reports to a fiduciary Board comprised of family and independent directors that meet regularly and interact with the Family Office in a well-structured manner.Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Business and IT Project Manager with demonstrated experience managing accounting, finance and IT projects.Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the finance, accounting and investment teams, this individual will be responsible for managing projects that bridge the gap between finance operations and IT systems, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of financial technologies and processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong ability to manage multiple projects, improve processes, and drive efficiency across all departments.Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cohesive operations with 3rd party IT service providers and monitor performance.
  • Manage projects that integrate finance operations with IT systems and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, to ensure project objectives are met within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, including an IT committee, to provide updates and ensure alignment.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that combine financial best practices with IT solutions to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across financial systems and IT platforms.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools to create financial reports, analyze data, and track project performance.
  • Develop automated financial reporting tools and dashboards to monitor key financial metrics and project status.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide insights and support decision-making during project execution.

Skills; knowledge and abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
  • Proven ability to manage IT projects that impact finance systems and processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an asset.
  • Experience using AI tools as a solution.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to manage projects independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both finance and IT teams.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex financial and IT data.
  • Strong communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Adaptable and able to handle changing project requirements and priorities.

Education : BachelorExperience : 8 years: 8 to 10 years of experience in finance/accounting and IT project management.
