JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled IT Systems Specialist with expertise in SharePoint, databases, Microsoft 365, Jira, and VBA. As a vital member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our internal IT systems and delivering essential technical support. Your efforts will directly contribute to optimising productivity across our organisation and the successful implementation of our projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer, develop, and enhance internal IT systems, including SharePoint, databases, and Microsoft 365;
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently;
  • Assist users with remote access technologies and telecommuting setups to support flexible work arrangements;
  • Maintain accurate and current documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations;
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance;
  • Develop, implement, and oversee IT inventory tracking and asset management systems;
  • Deliver training and webinars aimed at increasing productivity through better use of IT tools;
  • Automate internal processes to improve efficiency across various departments;
  • Collaborate with IT contractors and service providers to enhance service delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Higher education degree, preferably in Computer Sciences, or a technical education with equivalent professional experience;
  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support roles, with a strong background in SharePoint, databases, Microsoft 365, and Jira;
  • Broad knowledge of various IT tools and database systems;
  • Proficiency in remote access and telecommuting technologies;
  • Programming skills, preferably in VBA;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. French is an asset;
  • Demonstrated responsibility and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and in a multicultural environment, showcasing strong interpersonal skills;
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and skill development;
  • Valid working permit for Belgium.
