We source, build and implement the right technology solution, and fit it into exactly the right place so that everything meets the high bar that Dropboxers expect.Role DescriptionAs a Technical Program Manager within the ITS PMO team, you will be the driving force behind optimizing the way we execute and deliver end-to-end technology solutions. You’ll work cross-functionally across multiple organizations to develop and foster relationships with business and technology teams to lead and influence how we think about and do work. You will be a thought leader on how best to align on strategic roadmaps, manage the portfolio, and the process and standards for how Dropbox plans and executes.In this specific role you will primarily manage a portfolio of technology projects supporting our Sales & Marketing teams, which may include introducing and implementing new technology solutions, enhancing our existing systems, including Salesforce, or leading a sub-component of a larger program. You will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects and programs that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Sales and/or Marketing teams. Your expertise will ensure that our IT infrastructure and tools are aligned with the strategic goals of Sales and Marketing, facilitating seamless operations and driving business growth.Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end management of multiple concurrent technical projects and programs of varying size and complexity, (e.g., business application enhancements, new system implementations, system and data integration work) ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g. developers, IT support, Sales, Marketing, and external vendors) to define, evaluate, and prioritize program dependencies, manage project schedules, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present program/project status and updates to senior management, ensuring on-time delivery and implementing risk mitigation strategies as needed.
- Foster strong partnerships with executive stakeholders and business and technical leaders, understanding their technical needs and translating them into actionable project plans. Ensure clear communication of project goals, progress, and challenges to all relevant parties. Prepare and deliver communications to varying audiences up to C-suite.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including scope statements, detailed project plans, status reports, decision and risk logs, and post-project evaluations. Track and report on project metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or college.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on IT projects supporting Sales and/or Marketing organizations.
- Experience delivering technology enablement projects and programs for Sales & Marketing teams, including managing CRM module implementations and/or enhancements, preferably on Salesforce.
- Demonstrated functional Sales and Marketing domain knowledge in a related industry.
- Experience supporting lead generation, scoring and routing platforms preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross functional projects from initiation to completion.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Demonstrated understanding of software development lifecycle from concept to delivery.
- Proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
- Experience performing cross-functional capacity and resource planning for projects.
- Experience running projects using Waterfall, Agile and hybrid approaches.
- Comfortable presenting in large groups.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Confluence Asana, etc…), familiarity with CRM and marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, LeanData, Marketo, Iterable, MadKudu, CDP, Tableau, etc.), and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving technical projects to enhance and integrate with Salesforce.
- Experience defining projects with business stakeholders
- PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is a plus.
- Curiosity or experience with AI.
Total RewardsCanada Pay Range$102,900-$139,200 CADThe range listed above is the expected annual salary/OTE for this role, subject to change.Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package.
