Introduction: Najahna is a 5-year project (2022 – 2026) funded by the Novo Nordisk Foundation (NNF) with a mission to promote youth economic empowerment in Jordan. The project’s primary goal is to empower 48,000 Syrian refugees and conflict-affected youth in Jordan, aged 15 to 25, to become economically and socially viable actors in an inclusive, healthy, protective, and gender-responsive environment. The project is implemented by five consortiums, Plan International (PI), The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), The Royale Health Awareness Society (RHAS), Includovate, and The Danish Industry (DI) and lead by Plan International.
About the activity: The Mobile Journalists (MoJo) pilot activity is a pivotal initiative under the Najahna program, seeks to empower up to 20 youth participants with Mobile Journalism tools and skills. We want to empower youth to tell their own stories and a confident and appealing way and through this create opportunities for employment and exposure – and to inspire their peers.
