Junior Education Officer

Celtic Harmony is an award-winning education charity, providing hands-on cultural heritage
education of ancient Britain. We aim to increase understanding of the natural world and create
a more sustainable way of life for future generations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic outdoor educator to lead activities for school groups and visitors at Celtic Harmony Camp, Prehistory settlement, near Hertford, as part of our award winning ‘Education Team of the Year 2023 School Travel Awards’!

We provide experiential learning through a range of hands-on activities from Archery to Friction Fire Lighting as Neolithic Hunter Gatherers or Iron Age Warriors on various Prehistory Day & Residential School Trips and Family Days Out and Overnight Stays.

The ideal candidate will have

• A minimum of 2 years continuous experience working in outdoor / heritage education
• Interest in history, prehistory and teaching to children
• Good team player

• Own car

Remuneration

Full-time (40 hours a week)  £25,000 pa
gross per annum, working on a monthly rota including weekends.
