To promote access to healthcare for all, the Servier Group also offers a range of quality generic drugs covering most pathologies.Key Account Manager – GI/HPBNorthern Territory; North Midlands & North of EnglandMain ResponsibilitiesThe Key Account Manager – GI/HPB, will be responsible for compliantly driving sales growth, market access and advocacy development in key accounts. To achieve sales targets whilst meeting the needs of key customers. To ensure that effective business plans are developed and implemented in line with company commercial objectives and brand strategy. To establish and maintain successful relationships with key customers. To be an expert partner with excellent product and therapeutic area knowledge.In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Enabling all eligible patients to be treated by Servier therapeutic options.
  • Achieving sales targets by developing sales growth and market access.
  • Successful development and implementation of the territory business plan.
  • Targeting, profiling and development of TAEs to improve the level of product advocacy in key accounts.
  • Appropriate allocation and use of internal resources.
  • Maintaining high levels of commercial and environmental knowledge to support changing clinical practice, local NHS services, pathways, and guidelines.
  • Supporting the wider oncology team including sales, marketing, and medical teams.
  • Having a deep understanding of the patient journey. Demonstrate a focus on improving patient care and outcomes.
  • Providing education to stakeholders in relation to the in-license indications of Servier GI/HPB products.
  • Optimising the use of multichannel communication to build and maintain trusting relationships with HCPs, developing brand and company awareness.
  • Identifying and support local market access initiatives to ensure access and availability to Servier products aligned to the agreed pricing and reimbursement strategy.
  • Ensuring Servier products are positioned within local treatment guidelines to support access of appropriate medicines to all eligible patients.
  • Working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience as a key account manager with a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Previous experience in Oncology is essential.
  • Experience in GI/HPB cancers, targeted therapies and previous launch experience is desirable.
  • Experience of successfully launching a new product and / or indication is also desirable.
  • Excellent scientific acumen and willingness to embrace the scientific nature of this role.
