Special Educational Needs and Disability strategies are meticulously planned and monitored to ensure optimal outcomes for all pupils, irrespective of SEND status.About the Role:As a Key Stage 3 Teacher, you’ll deliver the curriculum, implement SEN strategies, and create a supportive, nurturing classroom environment. You’ll also contribute to the school’s pastoral system, fostering strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to promote academic and emotional growth.Responsibilities:

• Tailor the Key Stage 3 curriculum to meet the individual needs of students with SEN, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
• Implement effective teaching and behaviour strategies to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents to support progress and well-being.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, focusing on behaviour support strategies to enhance teaching practice.
• Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards, maintaining a safe learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant subject area
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent certification
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum and assessment requirements

Requirements:

• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, students, and parents
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
• Experience in using educational technology and digital resources is desirable
