Knowledge Sharing Officer

You have:

  • A Master’s degree in climate change, environmental science, natural resource management, geography, disaster risk including learning in knowledge sharing, knowledge translation and/or international development.
  • Proficiency in French and English (reading, writing and speaking).
  • A minimum of three (3) years of combined experience in knowledge translation, knowledge sharing and conducting research with a focus on the implementation of research-into-use strategies.
  • An in-depth understanding of knowledge sharing and knowledge translation approaches and methodologies.
  • An enhanced knowledge of climate change, adaptation and resilience, and a heightened awareness of landscapes across climate science, humanitarian action, and climate policy including key actors and the contribution of research to policy and practice.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to discern trends and identify and analyze program issues related to knowledge sharing.

  • Competent in planning, designing knowledge sharing activities.

  • A team player within a multidisciplinary group of people from diverse cultures able to collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders in multiple international locations. 
  • Qualified to establish, manage, and monitor relationships with diverse and experienced stakeholders.

You are interested in:

  • Preparing summaries of program performance, drawing on monitoring and evaluation data, turning it into annual review documents and strategies towards research use and uptake.
  • Implementing communications guidance, supporting the projects teams and grantees.
  • Conveying projects achievements, demonstrating why they matter and identifying the benefits for local communities and contributions to thinking, practice and action.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders in the planning and designing social media and events.
  • Reviewing and analyzing CLARE monitoring and evaluation data to ensure quality assurance.
  • Joining an organization that values and models diversity, inclusion, and equity.
