• Holds at least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field.
• Has a clear, coherent communication style.
• Has a passion for the education of primary school students.
• Is committed to following safeguarding procedures.
• Has a warm, welcoming personality.
• Preferably, will have experience of working alongside children, or in an education setting.

The Role
As a KS1 Academic Coach, you will be supporting pupils across the curriculum on a 1:1 and small group basis. You will aid the development of pupils’ basic literacy and numeracy skills to prepare them for a successful journey through education. To ensure that the support you offer to pupils is as effective as possible, you must build strong bonds with the pupils and work in close collaboration with both teaching staff and students to create a positive learning environment.The School
