We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 2 Teacher for a great school in Southeast England starting in January 2025.   • · Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
  • · Implement appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
  • · Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
  • · Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
  • · Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
  • · Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
  • · Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required.

Year 2 Teacher Requirements

  • · Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • · Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • · Proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting.
  • · Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • · Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • · Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • · Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
  • · Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
