  • Planning and Delivering Inspiring Lessons: Design engaging and creative lessons that will excite Year 1 students and help them develop their literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
  • Fostering a Love of Learning: Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, happy, and motivated to learn.
  • Tracking and Celebrating Progress: Regularly assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback, and celebrating achievements.
  • Differentiated Learning: Adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.
  • Collaborating with Colleagues: Work with other teachers and staff to share ideas, strategies, and resources, creating a supportive and dynamic team environment.
  • Engaging with Parents and Guardians: Keep parents and guardians informed and involved in their child’s learning journey, ensuring that communication is clear and positive.

What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a Year 1 Teacher who is:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent).
  • Experienced in teaching Key Stage 1, with a good understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Passionate about creating a fun, engaging, and inclusive classroom that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Committed to ongoing professional development and creating a positive impact on the school community.
