- Plan and deliver exciting and engaging lessons tailored to KS1 students.
- Create a positive classroom environment where children feel safe, inspired, and eager to learn.
- Assess and track progress, providing constructive feedback to support student development.
- Encourage independence and critical thinking, preparing students for the next stage in their learning journey.
- Work closely with colleagues to share ideas, best practices, and contribute to the wider school community.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, celebrating student progress and addressing any challenges.
- Engage in professional development, with excellent mentoring for ECTs and career progression for experienced teachers.
What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passion for teaching in KS1 and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
- A solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to classroom teaching.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
