Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are looking for a Year 1 Teacher to start in January 2025 at our dynamic primary school in Barking. • Position: Full-Time Year 1 Teacher
• Location: Barking, London
• Start Date: January 2025

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering exciting, interactive lessons that foster both literacy and numeracy development in young children. You’ll also play a key role in supporting their emotional and social growth, helping them build confidence, form friendships, and develop a love of learning.Key Responsibilities:

• Inspiring Lessons: Deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that lay the foundation for reading, writing, and numeracy skills. You’ll use creative teaching methods to spark curiosity in your students.
• Emotional Support: Encourage the social and emotional development of your pupils, helping them grow in confidence and form positive relationships with their peers.
• Tailored Learning: Assess and track individual progress, tailoring your teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each child.
• Parent Partnership: Maintain open communication with parents and carers, offering regular updates on student progress and providing support for continued learning at home.

• A qualified Year 1 Teacher with experience in Key Stage 1.

• The ability to commute to Barking, either via public transport or other means.
