KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Thurrock, EssexEducation and trainingAre you seeking a new and exciting opportunity to improve the lives of young people and support children with SEND/SEMH needs?An inclusive and warm two-form entry Primary School in the Thurrock area is seeking a KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP! This role is Long-Term and Full-Time for at least the full academic year.As a KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be working with pupils in a variety of settings including small group interventions, on a 1:1 basis and within the class as a whole. The main focus of this position will be to support various children in KS2 with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD and more with their learning and academic development.The Head Teacher is keen to interview/trial outgoing graduates with strong academics and previous child-based experience. Due to the nature of the role, experience working with SEND is required. • KS2 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Working with KS2 students with SEND in and out of the classroom
• Supporting all students with their learning alongside class teachers
• Maintaining and promoting academic and behavioural expectations from all students

ROLE DETAILS

• Based in Thurrock, Essex
• Monday – Friday, Term-Time only
• 8.30am – 3:30pm
• Long-Term, Full-Time role – ASAP Start
• £83-£100 per day
