- At least a bachelor’s degree in education, or a related field.
- Outstanding communication skills and a friendly personality.
- Dedication to improving pupils’ wellbeing and attainment levels.
- Commitment to following safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Previous experience of supporting children, or in a school setting, is advantageous but not mandatory.
The Role
As a KS2 Academic Coach, you will provide high-quality support to pupils aged 7-11 on a 1-2-1 and assist teaching staff in planning and delivering stimulating and engaging lessons. You will monitor student progress and aid in adapting learning materials to suit individual student needs. It is essential that you create strong bonds with pupils, as well as teaching staff, to ensure that students can be provided with the highest quality of support. In order to preserve a positive learning environment, it is mandatory that you enthusiastically partake in activities with the wider school community.The School
