*** Providing academic support to KS2 to improve their grades as they approach their SATs.

The ideal candidate for this KS2 Academic Coach position will have achieved at least a 2:1 bachelor’s degree. They will have a friendly personality with a natural ability to build strong bonds with children. It is essential that the successful candidate is dedicated to the education of young learners and is commited to following safeguarding policies and procedures. Previous experience of working in close collaboration with children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.The Role:

• Providing 1-2-1 and small group support to under-achieving KS2 pupils.
• Improving grades and raising attainment levels as pupils approach their SATs exams.
• Assisting teaching staff in day-to-day activities including the planning and dleivery of engaging lessons.
• Assessing classwork and providing constructive feedback.
• Creating and implementing personalised support strategies to accommodate pupils’ unique learning needs.
