Randstad Education is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced KS1 Teacher to join our team of exceptional educators in Wetherby. This role offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant primary school environment, making a significant impact on the early educational experiences of young children.Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 students, ensuring a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters the intellectual, social, and emotional development of students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities, encouraging active participation and curiosity.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies to meet the needs of each child.
- Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting a collaborative and nurturing educational environment.
- Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities, contributing to the school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (or the equivalent UK recognised qualification)
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting, within the UK.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- The ability to implement effective teaching strategies and differentiate learning to all learners.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for teaching young children and a commitment to their academic and personal growth.
