Job descriptionKS2 Teacher StockportProspero Teaching is currently recruiting for a Qualified KS2 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stockport. This OFSTED-rated GOOD school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher with strong classroom management skills and a passion for delivering high-quality education.Role Details:Location: Stockport
Position: KS2 Teacher
Type of work: Long-term
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Two terms (with potential for extension)
Contract type: Full-time
Working hours: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Pay: Paid to scale (GBP140+ per day)Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school leadership team
Support pupils academic, social, and emotional developmentRequirements:Qualifications: Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience: Previous experience teaching KS2 in a UK primary school
Skills: Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills
Safeguarding: Up-to-date safeguarding training is desirable (training can be provided)
Compliance: Must have the right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
