  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Key Stage 2 students, ensuring all pupils are challenged and supported.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities, encouraging active participation and a love of learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support each student’s holistic development.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities, contributing to the broader school community and culture.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting, ideally within the UK.
  • A thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
