Academics are recruiting for a primary school located in the vibrant community of Wandsworth, they are seeking a proactive and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join the team in supporting the education and development of our Year 3/4 pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is passionate about pursuing a career in teaching and wants to gain valuable experience in a supportive and dynamic school environment.Responsibilities for the KS2 Teaching Assistant:– Collaborate with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.– Support the planning and preparation of educational materials and resources.– Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils, helping them to achieve their academic potential.– Assist with the implementation of behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.– Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher when necessary.– Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes pupils well-being and encourages a love for learning.– Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of this Wandsworth Primary School.Requirements:– A bachelor’s degree in any discipline or experience with working with children.– A strong desire to pursue a career in teaching and a passion for working with children.– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.– Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.– Proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively within a team.– Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.This exciting opportunity of KS2 Teaching Assistant offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
