Job description
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a primary school located in Macclesfield. They are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support with Year 6 pupils preparing for their SATS. The school is in a great location with excellent transport links between Stockport and Congleton.The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting the academic development of young students and be able to confidently communicate with both students and other members of staff.About the role:
- Full-time position with immediate start upon registration with Teaching Personnel
- Working 1-1 and in small groups with students who require additional support in Maths, English and reading
- Supporting the teacher ensuring all behaviour policies are followed
- Opportunity to earn £85-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- Previous experience within a primary school is preferred, but general school experience is necessary
- Safeguarding training (must be done through Teaching Personnel)
- At least 2 references covering the last 24 months of employment/study
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
Expected salary
£100 per day
