You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues from other academic disciplines including Engineering, IT, Creative Industries, Games, and others across the wider university community.We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour academic to join our growing interdisciplinary academic team and be part of delivering our ambitious plans.You will have a commitment to developing and delivering high-quality face-to-face and online teaching, have excellent communication skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a high performing team of academic staff in delivering across our range of undergraduate, postgraduate, apprenticeship and professional courses.You will be educated ideally to Level 8 (PhD or DBA) with a research profile, and you’ll have the ability to deliver an excellent student experience through creative and innovative learning, and a commitment to pastoral care, as well as actively engaging in scholarly activity and research, to make an impact to our emerging research agenda.Starting salary will depend on your qualifications and experience but for the Senior Lecturer role you will have significant experience of managing, leading and developing courses, supervision of research projects and knowledge of academic quality assurance processes. You will also be a member of the HE Academy or hold an equivalent teaching qualification.As an academic staff member, you will exhibit Staffordshire University values in your ‘ambitious and inspirational’ attitude and your ‘curious and daring’ approach to teaching. As well as contributing to the delivery of teaching you will be expected to undertake research, consultancy and income generating activities to contribute towards The Institute’s strategic priorities.
