- University degree in electrical engineering or telecommunications, equivalent education, or relevant professional experience.
- Minimum three year’ experience in implementation of RF systems supporting various communications functions as well as utilization of electromagnetic spectrum; RF data analysis; report creation and research of new RF technologies and trends.
- Good understanding of logistics management and life cycle management of radio communication systems.
- Good knowledge in identifying and communicating technical requirements or specifications of the RF equipment and configurations.
- Ability to deal with national representatives at all levels.
- Experience in using project management methods and tools.
- Ability to facilitate/present persuasively and negotiate effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ability to promote international cooperation and to participate effectively in international meetings.
- Sound digital literacy with experience in using office automation systems and software applications, e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the various defense/military radio and wireless communication technologies
- Experience in verifying performance specifications of the RF systems, antennas, transmitters, and receivers.
- Deep understanding of the principles of signal processing and the different types of modulation techniques used in radio communications.
- Ability to write and prepare clear procedures and reports as required.
- Ability to read and write technical documentation.
- NATO’s official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable.

- Basic monthly salary: EUR 7 599,21, tax free.

Interviews are expected to be held approximately six weeks after the application closing date. The Talent Acquisition and Development Office shall let you know in due course the outcome of the screening process.
