This includes providing support for research bid development, liaison with funders and post award delivery, initiatives to foster collaboration across the university, the facilitation of public and community engagement and provision of support for impact training and capture. The team manages research governance policies and processes for researchers and PGRs, the Research Excellence Framework submission and provides training and development opportunities for researchers at all stages of their career.The RoleThe Learning & Development Manager (Research OPRE) will play a key role in supporting the development of UEL’s inclusive and sustainable research culture and environment as part of our new Impact and Innovation Sub Strategy. Working closely with the Director of the Office for Postgraduates, Research and Engagement and colleagues from the wider Impact and Innovation portfolio, you will lead the design and manage the delivery and evaluation of our enhanced Researcher Development Programme and support the Researcher Concordat Steering Group to deliver the action plan and reporting requirements for the Concordat and contribute to a range of events which underpin UEL’s research culture and environment.About YouWith your knowledge of the developments, challenges, and opportunities in researcher development in higher education, you will lead the design and delivery of an inclusive, accessible, and sustainable offer which is shaped by our diverse researcher community. You’ll be experienced in engaging different audiences and collaborating effectively across an institution.
