As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing students’ learning experiences and providing personalized support.Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored assistance to students with additional learning needs, both in the classroom and on a one-to-one basis.
• Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and materials to suit individual learning styles.
• Help students in Islington develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive learning environment in alignment with the school’s values.
• Collaborate on individualized education plans (IEPs) and support the unique needs of each student.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• A patient, empathetic, and encouraging approach to working with young people.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant qualification or degree related to education or special needs support would be beneficial.
• Commitment to making a positive impact within the Islington school community.
