Teaching Personnel are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in central Bristol.Main Duties:

  • Provide academic and social support to students with SEN
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans for SEN students
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Facilitate small group interventions

The ideal Learning Mentor has:

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and support techniques
  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • An empathetic, calm and patient manner

Here are some important details about the position:

  • Location: BS1
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
  • Start Date: September
  • Contract: Permanent contracts available after an initial trial period

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
