Learning Support Practitioner – Full TimeGSL Education is proud to be working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Winchester to recruit a full-time Learning Support Practitioner to join their dedicated SEND team this September.We are renowned for matching educators to their dream jobs and offering exceptional service throughout the recruitment process. With experienced consultants by your side, you’ll receive personalised support from application to interview and beyond.About the Role:

• Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs across KS3 and KS4.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive teaching strategies are in place.
• Offer 1:1 and small group interventions to boost academic and social progress.
• Build positive, professional relationships with students, helping them feel confident and supported.
• Monitor and record progress, contributing to student support plans and reviews.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an educational setting.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic nature.
• A genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
