Upon completion of probation objectives these colleagues are automatically moved into the Assistant Professor role. The selection panel will assess your application and discuss with you which role you are being considered for at selection and appointment stages.Please see the below job descriptions and salary scales for each role –(£39,347 – £44,262)(£45, 584 – £56,021)(£57,695 – £66,856)ABOUT THE TEAMThe Department of Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation is a UK top 5 department for research power (REF2021), and a top quartile and 4th ranked Department for Sport & Exercise Sciences and Physiotherapy subjects, respectively (GUG2024). We lead a wide range of world-leading and internationally excellent research with impact, which enriches the experience of our students across sport & exercise sciences, sport & exercise nutrition, sport coaching, sport management and physiotherapy. Key areas of research strength in the Department include Aerospace Medicine, Management of Long-term Conditions, Neuromuscular Function, Optimising Sport Performance, and Sports Coach Education. We also actively support colleagues working in a number of emerging areas research excellence.
