Job Description:ABOUT THE ROLEWorking as part of multi-disciplinary teams, you will be responsible for contributing to an exceptional student experience through the delivery of teaching, research, knowledge exchange and business and enterprise engagement activity. With research already published in relevant journals, the successful applicant will join one of the UKs leading centres for Responsible Business teaching and research. You should be prepared to develop, lead and contribute to teaching on a range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules within the subject area in addition to developing research bids and outputs which enhance understanding of dimensions and implications of responsible business. The Subject Group include specialists in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), ethical business, co-operatives, democratic self-management, meaningful work, the Sustainable Development Goals, responsible leadership and organisational applications of moral philosophy and we are looking for someone whose research complements these existing strengths.This post is advertised across our and roles. Colleagues appointed into our Lecturer grade are usually early career academics who are supported through their probationary period to develop their academic profile. The selection panel will assess your application and discuss with you which role you are being considered for at selection and appointment stages.ABOUT THE TEAMWorking within the Department of Leadership and HRM, you will join a team of highly qualified academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience through their research expertise. You will contribute to research informed and technology enabled learning and teaching on our contemporary suites of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, which include: Business Management Foundation year, BA Business Management, MSc Business and Management programmes at all levels. In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and scholarly activities, contributing to the Faculty’s research profile and REF submission, together with contributing to consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities.ABOUT YOUApplicants should hold a doctoral qualification (Assistant Professor) or exceptionally soon to be qualified (Lecturer) and have demonstrable specialist expert knowledge and subject expertise in a relevant subject discipline.Experience of designing, delivering, and assessing high quality teaching and learning practice as well as evidence of high-quality research outputs are essential.Further information is available in the and person specifications.
