Lecturer / Associate Professor in Cancer Biology / Cancer Research

Interview Date: Between 9th September and 20th September 2024Start Date: January 2025The School of Cancer Sciences (CS), in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton, welcomes applications for the above post. We are looking to appoint two new academic posts, at either Lecturer or Associate Professor level, to support our strong, internationally recognised academic profile. Both posts will undertake globally recognised research, and work to attract significant research funding. You will contribute to the CS in a leadership and research capacity and contribute to our under-graduate and post-graduate educational portfolio.For both posts, we are interested in attracting excellent candidates from all areas of experimental and computational cancer research but are particularly interested in investing in the following research areas; 1) tumour immunology and the microenvironment 2) cancer immunotherapy, 3) lymphoid tumour biology and 4) computational cancer research.At Lecturer level, you should have
